Innovation requires more than one-off hackathons—it requires sustained pathways from ideation to execution.

World Build 2.0 is designed to fill a critical gap in the builder ecosystem: a clear, structured journey from concept to funding, with embedded community support.

Building on the success of World Build 1.0, this next phase leverages strategic continuity, access to decision makers, and community-driven momentum to create a builder pipeline with sustained engagement, direct funding pathways, and high-touch mentorship.

World Build 2.0 has 4 stages, kicking off with a hackathon in September 2025.

Stage 1: World Build 2.0 Hybrid Hackathon

• Dates: Applications Open: September 2-25, 2025 Hack dates: September 25—28, 2025
• Location: Online + in person in SF
• Compete online or in person to win up to $5,000 in prizes and advance into the program. Both individuals and teams are welcome.
• We have limited space to fast track established teams directly to Stage 2 (you must have a functioning product and be deployed on World or World test environment). If you meet these criteria, please reach out.

Stage 2: Residential Build Sprint

• Dates: November 9–17, 2025
• Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina
• Successful hackathon teams will be invited on a fully funded trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where they'll build out their ideas alongside world-class mentors and the World team's top talent. The program will host 10 builders for 8 days, with up to $200k in grant funding available.

Stage 3: Online Build Program

• Dates: October - December, 2025
• Location: Online
